One Covenant Cares project began when a local pastor connected us with a family experiencing several plumbing and safety concerns in their home. Our technician, Shane, volunteered his time to assess the issues and complete a variety of repairs that helped improve the safety and functionality of the home. Through repairs, replacements, and careful attention to the family’s needs, the project helped bring greater comfort and peace of mind during a difficult season.
Through our Covenant Cares program, we recently had the privilege of helping a homeowner who had been living without reliable hot water due to a failing water heater – even having to heat water on the stove to take baths. After learning more about her situation, our team wanted to help her by installing a brand-new 40-gallon water heater at no cost, restoring safe and dependable hot water to her home. While the plumbing work itself was important, what impacted our team most was her kindness and gratitude throughout the process. She continually thanked and encouraged our technicians, later delivering a handwritten note and even a painting as a gift to show her appreciation. Moments like these remind us that Covenant Cares is about more than plumbing — it’s about serving people, building meaningful connections, and caring for our community with compassion and dignity.
